MERGING TRAFFIC

Maureen Rich small Merging Traffic Quintet
Variety: Jazz, Big Band & Swing/ Standards/ Ethnic/ 60's, 70's, 80's thru 2006

The most versatile band in the San Francisco Bay Area whose music includes dance music from the 1900's through 2006 featuring, Standards, Swing, Big Band, Jazz, Rock, Blues, Motown, Disco, Classical, Ballroom, Jewish, Italian, and other Ethnic styles. Merging Traffic enjoys learning special requests.

"Merging Traffic is an important part of the private and corporate event scene in the Bay Area and was recommended to me many times. Sometimes they play up to two hours continuously if the mood of the party asks for it." This is a quote taken from the popular party planning book By Recommendation Only written by Johanna Kaestner.

They play for all occasions including wedding receptions, wedding ceremonies, corporate events, holiday parties and bar/bat mitzvahs. Merging Traffics' specialty is to unify a party and get everyone involved whatever their age or musical preference. You can be sure the emcee will make all appropriate announcements in a tasteful and timely manner.

Merging Traffic is completely adaptable and can be sized to any event. Piano solos, duos or trios for a classical wedding ceremony can segue to a jazz cocktail hour or intimate dinner party. The swinging rhythm section of an elegant small ensemble to the hot horns of a eight piece dance band will keep your guests on the floor continuously. The energy and enthusiasm inspired by female & male vocalists allow Merging Traffic to cover all musical styles.

Merging Traffic considers all of their performances very special. The have played for IBM, Apple, Hitachi, Stanford University, Santa Clara University, Ming Quong, the Kidney Foundation, the United Way, Hewlett-Packard, Jerry Yang of Yahoo! and many other companies and organizations. Many of our clients are repeat customers and much of our business is generated from referrals.
